GOOGLEHEAD OF CREATIVE BRAZIL
At Google, I would say I had a triple role:
One, I was a Chief Creative Officer. I had ideas myself, directed the ideas from my team of Creative Directors and brainstormed with creative leadership from agencies.
Two, I was a tech specialist. An expert in all things Google, helping Brazil’s major advertisers and agencies use the platforms like YouTube, Maps and Search in the most creative and effective way.
Three, and maybe the most hidden from the outside, I was a business unit leader. Every year, I developed our business plan aligned with the country’s business plan, setting OKRs, sales narratives, services, budget spends, headcount, etc.
One of my major accomplishments was when I completely restructured the area, changing services, processes and team structure. Result: with a -50% reduction in the number of headcounts compared to the previous management, I increased the volume and coverage of services delivered by +100% already in the first year (2017).
