Green Fables is a collection of children's books that retell classic fables to teach about the climate crisis, adapting each story to match the cultures and natural surroundings of different parts of the world.
In our version of Little Red Riding Hood, the hunter becomes the bad guy because he wants to burn down the forest, hurting the wolf.
In Three Little Pigs, they get greedy and want to build cheap buildings, devastating the environment.
AI was used as a precision instrument.
Not to generate generic imagery, but to research and render the exact botanical species, the food, the architecture and the endangered species of the world's four largest polluters: United States, China, India and Russia, plus Brazil.
So that the children reading the books feel like it's a problem that could affect them and their reality.
The illustrations were created by combining digital painting with advanced AI tools, allowing us to tailor each version of the story to the specificities, cultural symbols, and rich environments of each country.
Impact
